Test Lead Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test lead role.
- Proven experience in testing analytics systems, with a strong understanding of data integrity, reporting, and insights validation.
- Proficiency in coordinating and managing cross-functional testing teams.
- Experience with integration testing, functional testing, QA, and UAT in complex enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of test data setup and code promotion in multi-environment setups.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate test results and insights to diverse audiences, including technical teams, business stakeholders, executives, and steering committees.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or other test management platforms.
- Experience with the o9 platform or other supply chain and assortment planning systems.
Test Lead Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and third-party partners to define and align testing requirements.
- Integration Testing: Plan and execute integration test scenarios to validate seamless interaction between systems and interfaces.
- Functional Testing: Ensure application functionality aligns with business requirements through detailed test cases and defect tracking.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Define and enforce QA processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Manage the UAT process, supporting end-users with test scripts, issue resolution, and validation.
- Oversee the setup and management of test data across environments to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing with a focus on replicating a PROD like data set and structure.
- Ensure smooth code promotion across testing and production environments.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of testing environments.
- Design and execute test scenarios for analytics systems, ensuring the accuracy of data, insights, and reports.
- Validate integration between analytics platforms and the o9 system, ensuring data flow integrity.
