Profiles is seeking a Social Media Manager to join the marketing team of a financial services corporation for an exciting opportunity!. This position is hybrid with 2 days in the Boston office and 3 days at home.  

The ideal Social Media Manager candidate will lead and manage the conversation on the company's social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube, enforcing social media guidelines to create a positive, and welcoming online community for customers across owned social channels.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

  • Execute real-time brand social communications with customers, fans, followers and advocates and provide tactical support for campaigns/activations.
  • Identify and communicate social escalations to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support efforts to reward customers and communities via social giveaways.
  • Contribute to documentation of best practices and guidelines on social presences.
  • Observe, surface and make recommendations regarding conversations, other social communities, trends and technologies in the marketplace that are relevant to company's social presence.
  • Manage and execute changes to the publishing calendar across channels.

Social Media Manager Requirements:

  • Strong writing and/or copywriting experience is a must.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with digital communications or social media, extended social media experience with community management, a plus.
  • 2+ marketing years of experience in content creation or social media.
  • 2+ years of public relations, marketing communications and crisis.
  • 2+ years of management experience, a plus.
  • Familiarity with social community platforms, including Sprinklr, Hootsuite, SproutSocial.
