A leader in the utility industry is hiring a User Experience Researcher for a hybrid, full-time position. This role is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and data-driven researcher to shape user-centered digital solutions across platforms.

User Experience Researcher Perks:
  • Hybrid flex – once per week onsite.
  • Work with a UX leader who values and activates research.
  • Compensation: $35-40 per hour.
  • Contribute to both short- and long-term digital strategy.
  • Collaborative culture – collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines. Focus on usability testing with room for exploratory research.
User Experience Researcher Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient with research tools like UserTesting.com.
  • Strong communication of research findings to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Experience in the Electric and Gas Utility industry preferred.

User Experience Researcher Responsibilities:
  • Conduct usability testing, interviews, and analytics reviews.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Plan research ahead of development cycles in an agile setting.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers.
  • Identify user pain points and trends to inform solutions.
