Proposal Coordinator
A non-profit in Alexandria, VA is looking for a hybrid remote Proposal Coordinator to join their collaborative and dynamic team. This position requires four days onsite and must be eligible for a DoD clearance.

- Salary: $70,000 – $90,000, depending on relevatnt experience.
- Establish proposal workspaces by setting up SharePoint sites for collaboration and ensure key documents are stored in Salesforce for easy access.
- Support BD team to organize and assess proposal materials, collect questions on solicitation requirements, coordinate executive reviews, and ensure timely submission.
- Assist with training sessions on proposal processes, best practices, version control, and RFP compliance and submissions.
- Enhance cross-team collaboration, work with support team, contracts, IT, and creative department to address compliance challenges and manage pricing effectively.
- Document insights post-submission, archive final proposals, participate in client debriefs to capture strengths and weaknesses, and record lessons learned.
- Drive continuous improvement, facilitate lessons learned meetings and maintain a repository of best practices to improve proposal efforts across the BD division.
- Minimum 3 years of proposal experience, preferably in the government space.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Proven experience in supporting high volume of federal proposals (20+ at a time) in Shipley, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, and managing fast-paced workflows.
- Strong skills in MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint for collaboration.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines, and guiding team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and a willingness to work long hours when needed.
