An innovative and growing FinTech company is hiring a hybrid remote Sr. Backend Engineer in San Francisco, CA for a full-time position that will sit onsite 2-3 days each week.

Sr. Backend Engineer Perks:

Sr. Backend Engineer Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer (FinTech industry preferred).
  • Proven success delivering high-end software products.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Nest.js, Prisma.
  • Experience writing E2E and Unit tests.
  • Must be comfortable with and an advocate for Scrum / Agile methodology.
  • Bonus experience; React, GCP, Jenkins / Docker, PostgreSQL.

Sr. Backend Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement risk mitigation and advanced testing processes using React and Playwright.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other Scrum members.
  • Debug complex issues and develop creative solutions using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, QA, Technical Support).
  • Lead and mentor junior Engineers in software application design, development, and testing.
Annual Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $160,000 (based on experience)
