Technical Product Manager
An American multi-brand, multi-channel, specialty retailer is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join their collaborative and dynamic team. This position is a 6-month contract opportunity and 100% remote.

This role involves end-to-end management of the product lifecycle, from initial research and requirements gathering to launch. You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, designers, and other cross-functional team members to bring innovative solutions to life and continually refine products based on performance metrics and customer insights.

Technical Product Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager with a focus on backend systems or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Order Management Systems, POS technology, and omnichannel platforms, with experience in Manhattan Active Omni highly desirable.
- Proficiency in A/B testing, with a track record of using customer insights to refine product features.
- Experience managing a product through its entire lifecycle, with the ability to transform customer feedback into prioritized product requirements, driving both pre-launch and post-launch phases.
- Skilled in creating and refining product roadmaps for complex products, from gathering requirements and customer data to rolling out new features and managing product backlog.
- Proven ability to solve business challenges through clear communication and collaboration with key partners and stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues, advocate for the product roadmap, and inspire alignment across teams.
Technical Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a comprehensive roadmap for backend systems, ensuring alignment with customer and business needs.
- Drive the full product lifecycle, including requirement definitions, technical specifications, development, testing, performance metrics, and launch strategies.
- Collaborate across departments, including engineering, operations, and design, to define data needs and implement system improvements.
- Lead business-critical projects, proactively identifying needs that feed into the strategic roadmap and drive impactful results.
- Manage and evolve product roadmaps to address both business and technical goals, using customer data to shape actionable initiatives, rollout plans, and risk management strategies.
- Establish and communicate a clear product vision and strategy, informed by industry insights, market opportunities, and internal best practices.
- Foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders, aligning product priorities with business objectives and obtaining executive buy-in for product roadmaps.
- Analyze business goals and customer needs to set the direction and ensure continuous alignment with overall company strategies.
